LUMINOZ ANNOUNCES A PARTNERSHIP AGREEMENT WITH INTERNATIONAL TRADING COMPANY, MITSUI COMTEK CORPORATION

MITSUI WILL BECOME THE WORLDWIDE DISTRIBUTOR OF LUMINOZ SCREENS FOR KEY APPLICATIONS

Los Angeles, CA (DECEMBER 4, 2003) - Luminoz, the international optical plastics company whose screens are revolutionizing the standards of image quality for rear-projection televisions, LCD/TV, LCD films, digital signage, point-of-purchase video displays and aerospace instrument panels, has announced a partnership agreement with Mitsui Comtek Corporation, a subsidiary of Mitsui USA, who will now become the worldwide distributor of Luminoz screens used in RPT (rear-projection television) applications, as well as LCD film applications such as computer monitors and LCD TVs, among others. "Mitsui brings buyers and sellers from around the globe together on the common ground of mutual profitable trade," said Terry Jeon, project manager for Mitsui Comtek. "Mitsui's in depth understanding of consumer trends and product developments has led to its introduction of many of America's specialized products globally." Adds Jeon, "We have selected to represent Luminoz screens because of their uniqueness in the marketplace. They provide an unprecedented combination of physical and optical characteristics that are critical to viewing excellence." The controlled polymer systems that give Luminoz plastics their demonstrably superior light transmission abilities and application flexibility, have made them adaptable to a wide variety of environments and uses in home theaters, retail, commercial interiors, tradeshows, rear-projection big screen televisions, and boardrooms. Michael Perry, president & CEO of Luminoz said, "Mitsui's reach into world markets will greatly expand the exposure of our advanced projection screen technology, making them more widely available to manufacturers for use in rear-projection televisions and LCD films for computer monitors and other display technologies."

The Luminoz technology is the controlled dispersion of highly uniform sub-micron diffusion particles. They are distributed through an acrylic or resin matrix to create brighter, more uniform images than traditional methods of screen production allow.
